AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake Attends CHLA Legislative Summit

AAHOA Members from the Greater Los Angeles Area Region turned out in full force at the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) Legislative Action Summit. They engaged with political leaders, discussed industry issues, and helped increase the lodging industry's influence on policymakers.

Additionally, AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake gave a presentation on the importance of grassroots engagement, sharing highlights of our advocacy efforts. The North Pacific Region, led by Regional Director Ankit Panchal, hosted a town hall in conjunction with the event.

Vice Chairman Kamalesh (KP) Patel, South Pacific Regional Director Neil Bhakta, and Women Hoteliers Director Western Division Shetal Zina Patel were also in attendance.

The California Hotel & Lodging Legislative Action Summit is a unique legislative outreach and communication event produced by the California Hotel & Lodging Association. Each year, CHLA members from around the state gather in Sacramento for presentations on legislative and regulatory issues and visit with their local assembly members and senators to discuss key policy measures.
