Visit Tri-Cities has recognized AAHOA Lifetime Member Vijay Patel, President of A-1 Hospitality Group, with the Kris Watkins Tourism Champion Award—celebrating leaders who elevate the visitor experience and strengthen the region’s tourism economy.

ATLANTA, Ga., August 23 – AAHOA's (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) first Charity Golf Tournament of 2024, hosted by the Northwest Region, raised $105,000 to benefit five state and national charities, including Autism Society of Oregon, Businesses Ending Slavery & Trafficking (BEST), Make-A-Wish Oregon, the Washington Hospitality Association Education Foundation, and the AAHOA Charitable Foundation. The event was held on August 20 at the Camas Meadows Golf Club in Camas, WA.
