Today, Wednesday, November 8, AAHOA Chairman Bharat Patel has been honored with an invitation from the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, and Mr. Douglas Emhoff to join the Diwali festivities at the Vice President’s Residence in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with Indian American Impact. The event takes place entirely outdoors on the front lawn of the Vice President’s Residence.

This Diwali celebration in the nation’s capital holds profound significance. It signifies the growing recognition and influence of Indian American culture and traditions in the U.S. This event not only allows AAHOA Members and the South Asian community to celebrate their rich heritage but also showcases the diversity and vibrancy that multiculturalism brings to this great nation. It is a moment of pride to have Chairman Patel attend and represent AAHOA’s 20,000 members.
