North Pacific Regional Director Ankit Panchal hosted an AAHOA Town Hall meeting in Elk Grove, California, where more than 120 members were in attendance. Key topics like the rise of ADA lawsuits in California, Senate Bill 585, and AAHOA business updates were discussed, fostering valuable insights and collaboration among members in the North Pacific Region.

Bobbie Singh-Allen, Mayor of the City of Elk Grove and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of the California Lodging Industry Association delivered welcoming remarks. She praised AAHOA’s incredible growth over the years and expressed immense pride in the outstanding achievements of the association’s members. Additionally, Mayor Singh-Allen presented North Pacific Regional Director Panchal with a proclamation on behalf of the City of Elk Grove, recognizing AAHOA’s efforts in engaging with all levels of government. 

“The City Council of the City of Elk Grove sincerely congratulates and recognizes AAHOA for hosting a Town Hall meeting on July 26, 2023, in Elk Grove, California, and invites engagement with government at every level to work seamlessly in providing welcoming, safe communities, while protecting and growing the hospitality industry,” the proclamation reads. 

During the meeting, Panchal and his Ambassadors achieved a remarkable fundraising milestone by raising more than $15,000 in PAC funds. They also signed up 10+ new members who chose to invest in a lifetime membership with AAHOA. This surge in lifetime members further strengthens our association and empowers us to continue significantly impacting the hospitality industry.
