Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Monday morning at 4 a.m. CDT near Matagorda, TX. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports threats remain for storm surge, hurricane-force winds, and flash and urban flooding.
To assist our members who live in the region, AAHOA has put together a list of resources. Some of these resources apply to all areas of the country as we enter the peak months for hurricanes and tropical storms. Many AAHOA Member-owned hotels are located on or near the path of hurricanes, making preparedness a top priority. We encourage all hoteliers to have a plan in place and to use AAHOA as a resource to protect their families, guests, and properties from the impact of hurricanes.
Call 800-621-FEMA or visit the flood claim site to learn more about your policy and be directed to the appropriate claims resource.
If you are doing anything to help your local community, neighbors, first responders, etc., please email pr@aahoa.com. Additionally, if you live in an area impacted by the storm and need assistance, please reach out to AAHOA.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the following AAHOA Texas leaders:
We will continue monitoring the storm closely and coordinate any hurricane-related supplies you might need. AAHOA is here to support you.
Sincerely,
Team AAHOA
