Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has announced the formation of the advisory council for its upcoming Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) event in North America. 

HITEC is a renowned nonprofit event featuring over 300 exhibiting companies and 50 education sessions. The 2024 HITEC North America Advisory Council, led by co-chairs Katie Lee and McLean Xavier, will be responsible for shaping the education program for the event taking place from June 24–27 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina. 

The council, which includes a couple of AAHOA Members including Immediate Past Chairman Neal Patel (2022-2023), is chosen based on industry experience and will commence program planning in January 2024, with a focus on diverse viewpoints and innovation. A new addition this year is a public call for session proposals, with a deadline for submissions set for January 10, 2024.
