Coming off the heels of AAHOA’s recent press release about Choice’s newest efforts to acquire Wyndham, several hospitality media outlets have covered AAHOA’s response.

Hotel Management, Hotel Business, and Asian Hospitality have recently released articles summarizing AAHOA’s stance on the developments involving the proposed merger by Choice Hotels International of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. In a bold move, Choice nominated a slate of nominees for the Wyndham Board of Directors. 

All articles included the quote from AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake featured in the press release, where she states that despite respecting diverse opinions, individuals from Choice Hotels do not represent AAHOA’s viewpoint. AAHOA remains highly concerned about the proposed merger’s impact, and the association remains committed to advocating for the best interest of its Franchisee members.
