AAHOA Elections
How to Vote
Your participation in AAHOA’s democratic elections process is fundamental to AAHOA and has an incredible impact on our organization. We thank you in advance for your interest and commitment to casting your ballots. Below and via the new infographic, you can find a complete summary and step-by-step process about this year's elections and voting.
Let’s Get Started
Now Through March 29
1

First, ensure you’re eligible to vote. You can check your voter eligibility status in MyAAHOA.com and check eligibility. How? Sign into MyAAHOA.com, and look for the green check mark on the first page once you log in.

2

Update your email address and mobile phone number in MyAAHOA. You’ll need a unique email address and mobile phone number in MyAAHOA,which means NO sharing of email addresses or mobile phone numbers between businesses or families.

3

The next step is to download the Voatz app to your smartphone.

Visit https://aahoa.voatz.com for quick access to app-store links right at the top of the page or search for “Voatz” in your app store.

Note: For those who have previously used Voatz, please use the same account information and don't try to create multiple Voatz accounts.

What Happens Next?
Credentialing: March 1 - March 29
4

With the app downloaded, now you're ready to begin the credentialing process.

This process confirms your identity and begins on March 1 and closes on March 29. This 28-days window is the ONLY opportunity you'll have to complete this important step.

Important! If you do NOT complete the credentialing process within the specified timeframe, you WILL NOT be able to participate in the 2024 AAHOA Elections.

5
It's March 1 through March 29! Let's complete the credentialing process within the Voatz app. To get started, visit  https://aahoa.voatz.com  and click on " Voter Guide " in the top menu. This document will take you through all the steps needed to set up the app, confirm your identity, and get you ready to cast your ballot.

Note: Only one voter per smart device. No sharing of devices is allowed.

6

The last step in the credentialing process is for you to receive a confirmation in the Voatz app that you're verified.

Once you receive this confirmation within that 17-days window, you're ready to vote on April 4!

Again, you must complete this credentialing process between March 1 and March 29.
What Comes After Credentialing?
March 29 - April 4
7

The last step is to ensure you  review the candidates and positions in advance. Get familiar with the candidates so you’re ready to cast your ballot on Thursday, April 4.

8

If you’ll be joining us in Orlando, attend the General Session on Thursday to hear candidate speeches. Each candidate will have an opportunity to speak to eligible voters, and there will be a Secretary debate during General Session, which begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 4. AAHOA Elections candidate speeches will also be live-streamed from  AAHOA’s YouTube Channel

9

Last step! Use the Voatz app on your unique smart device to cast your ballot during these specified timeframes:
