Earlier this year, Congressman Shri Thanedar (MI-13) introduced H.R. 7242, the Loans in Our Neighborhoods (LIONS) Act. This piece of legislation would increase the maximum loan amount for the Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) program from $5 million to $10 million.
